Rosa-Johan Uddoh will be in conversation with Lola Olufemi at the Whitechapel Gallery on Saturday 12 November as part of a day of events celebrating the Jarman Awards shortlist. Rosa will be reading from their new book, Practice Makes Perfect (order it here) The other shortlisted artists are Jamie Crewe, Onyeka Igwe, Grace Ndiritu, Morgan Quaintance, Alberta Whittle, There will be screenings of all the artists’ work, including Uddoh’s Black Poirot, as well as conversations, audio, performance, and screenings of Derek Jarman’s work and some previously unseen footage.
