Book Works – an independent art publisher based in Shoreditch is looking for an Editorial and Marketing Assistant to start work in mid-September 2012.
A nine week course in hand bookbinding. Students will have the opportunity to learn basic bookbinding techniques through a variety of historical and contemporary styles, and to use conventional and unconventional binding materials. There will also be a chance to develop a personal project in the latter stages. The course will be for a maximum of 8 students and will be run by Ina Baumeister at Book Works Studio.
Book Works – an independent art publisher based in Shoreditch is looking for a Sales and Distribution Assistant to start work early August 2012. The Sales and Distribution Assistant will work directly with Paul Sammut, Sales and Distribution Manager, at Book Works and with other members of Book Works team, as needed.

Book Works is thrilled that The Happy Hypocrite has been selected for Millenium Magazines at MoMA, New York. Also in New York, Slavs and Tatars present Prayway as part of New Museum’s second triennial, The Ungovernables.
