While conventionally designers often become involved in the later stages of a book’s production, and with a limited brief, we involve the design in a collaborative process from the start to realise, with designer, artist and editor working together to create a book that realises the artists’ vision.
To celebrate the publication of Battles Vol 1 by Francesco Pedraglio, we are releasing a series of four short videos films created for Book Works Instagram @bookworksuk, and released from 26 October.

A new show by Stuart Brisley opens in London this week at the Lungley Gallery. Featuring new paintings alongside Maya Balcioglu’s photographs of Before The Mast, a ten-day durational performance that took place in London in 2013.
Join us at Burley Fisher to launch the new edition of small white monkeys: on self-expression, self-help & shame by Sophie Collins. Sophie will be reading from her work, as will Helen Charman who has written a new introduction for the second edition. They will be joined by Rachael Allen, also reading from her work.
