Shy Radicals screening and conversation at the BFI

Hamja Ahsan will be in conversation at the BFI on 4 March for screening of the Shy Radicals film, directed by Tom Dream and produced by Black Dog Films. The event is part of the Busting the Bias season on disability and film.

Shy Radicals is a portrait of award-winning artist, activist and author Hamja Ahsan, and the story behind his remarkable book and satirical manifesto Shy Radicals: The Antisystemic Politics of the Militant Introvert, which calls for all shy, quiet, and introverted people to unify and overthrow Extrovert-Supremacy. Hamja Ahsan will be in conversation about his book and the documentary after the screening.

Screening presented with descriptive subtitles for the D/deaf and people experiencing hearing loss. Conversation presented with live captioning and will have BSL English interpretation.
