Phyllis Christopher

Phyllis Christopher is an American photojournalist living and working in Newcastle, England. Her life’s work has been to document the lesbian community, namely during a period spent living in San Francisco, and while photo editor of On Our Backs magazine. Forthcoming exhibitions include a retrospective jointly curated across BALTIC, Gateshead, and Grand Union, Birmingham, in 2021.
