Design, Print and Bind – Evening class

A nine week course in book design and hand bookbinding. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to layout their own artwork ready to print using InDesign. We will print the pages and then they can be bound into the following three different book structures:

– Concertina

– Exposed Spine

– Japanese Stab Binding

The course will be for a maximum of eight students and will be run at Book Works Studio.

The course will run for 9 weeks with a 3 week gap near the beginning of the course for students to work on their artwork before printing.
